Our Client, global leader in nutrition and personal care products, is seeking to appoint a self-motivated Lawyer to join its legal team, responsible for managing legal affairs in the EMEA region. Reporting into the Senior Director EMEA, the Lawyer will handle a broad workload related to legal  issues, including contractual, commercial, regulatory, IP and compliance matters.

The Lawyer will be primarily responsible for:

• Working with sales managers and functional departments  to minimize litigation risks, handle legal issues and respond to crises;

• Assisting with new country openings and restructurings throughout the region;

• Assisting in the review and negotiation of general contracts, including promotional agreements, consulting agreements, licensing, development and supply agreements, third party logistics and site rental arrangements;

• Assisting in the management of litigation and liaising as appropriate with outside counsel;

• Providing legal review of marketing materials and other forms of communication by company to the public and providing on-going training to staff on compliance with legal claims requirements;

• Interacting with other members of EMEA Legal and all levels throughout the organization and outside firms.

Requirements:

• A minimum of five years post qualification experience gained in a large law firm or in-house legal department

• Fluency in English and Russian is a must

• Member of the bar association

• ·Ability to be proactive  and work autonomously

• Broad knowledge of international business practices

• Ability to interact effectively at all levels with sensitivity to cultural diversity

• Strong customer and results orientation

• Experience in the life sciences industry will be an asset

• Open to relocate for the first 6-12 months to UK and willingness to travel frequently as required
